Money Management for Cross-Cultural Workers is a guidebook for anyone who lives overseas, plans to go overseas, or serves as a forwarding agent. In this guidebook Ryan walks you through a 90-day process to develop new habits and skills to carefully and accurately keep track of your money. As you go through it, you will learn the daily, weekly, and monthly habits in order to stay on top of your records. This will enable you to easily generate monthly financial reports for supporters. Tax season no longer becomes a “dreaded burden” because of the work you’ve done year-round to prepare for tax filing.

“Not all cross-cultural workers are gifted with administrative skills. In Money Management for Cross-Cultural Workers, Ryan has done an incredible job of breaking down the somewhat overwhelming lifestyle of a missionary into practical daily tasks that will make their financial accountability much easier. He has emphasized the importance of consistency in reporting and provided new habits that will give cross-cultural workers more time to focus on the primary goal of winning lost souls." --Julie Cheatum, financial director, Team Expansion

About the Author:

Growing up on a family farm, Ryan had much early exposure to business and personal record-keeping as he kept track of some livestock and row crops. During his time in college, he worked several months as the accounting assistant in the college business office. Prior to and during their two-year stay in East Asia (2009-2011), Ryan and his wife developed a great system for financial record-keeping as they spent money in multiple currencies and were accountable to people living stateside. They currently live in rural Missouri.
