9781468178067: The Cantor Dimension: an Astrophysical Murder Mystery

In Rochester, New York, a woman disappears. The memory of her existence is wiped clean from everyone who knew her except for one friend with a crazy aunt.

In Utica, Illinois, a young man disappears. Nobody cares except for the one person who doesn't believe in UFOs.

In Memphis, Tennessee, Max disappears after a bank robbery leaving his clueless best friend Brody in charge of hiding his secrets from the police.

What do these three disappearances have in common? The Cantor Dimension...

Albert Einstein, Edmond Halley, Georg Cantor, and Isaac Newton come together in a series of true accounts which sets the stage for time travel in this astrophysical mystery.

Solve the centuries old murder of Edmond Halley, Sr. in a place where the legendary Knights Templar hid their treasures and the Prince of Transylvania lost his head. Discover Charles Dickens' obsession, Thomas Becket's curse, bizarre occupations and even more bizarre laws in Kent County, England in the days of yore.

Why did the Bats people worship the gods of time? What paradise did Cantor create from n-dimensional space? What was Isaac Newton's greatest quest? Meteorites, murders, mysteries, and mayhem surround the secrets that unlock the door to another world in The Cantor Dimension.

About the Author:

Known by the father of my high school friend as "the strange girl who lives down the street," I have always been fascinated by the oddest things. For example: UFOs, gypsies, ghosts, bizarre legends, the Knights Templar, and weird facts. Even my Out Loud - Amplified Whispers blog is full of the unusual. The Cantor Dimension fully embraces my penchant for the bizarre, weaving hundreds of weird facts into an astrophysical mystery of time travel, murder, mystery and mayhem. The truth really is stranger than fiction! Words have flowed since the sixties and the first official writing was in honor of the television series The Flying Nun starring Sally Field. Something about Sally flying around with her nun's hat as her "wings" and looking down over the cliff triggered the words. Since then, my articles and stories have appeared in a variety of newspapers and magazines including Creative Loafing newspaper, the Atlanta Constitution Journal newspaper, Complete Woman magazine, Dance Connection magazine, Hopscotch magazine, The World of Business Kids, Purple Cow newspaper, and the Fishwrap Magazine in which I wrote a monthly article. My articles have appeared on dozens of internet websites, most of which are dog-related but a few others as well. While I've been publishing articles and stories off and on for 25 years, I've only recently begun to publish books. The best sample you can get of my writing style is to read my blog. Followers of my Out Loud - Amplified Whispers blog can read about why short, bald people will be taken up in the rapture, how laughter is a brain disease, and my own personal favorite: the photographic diary of a dot on a dog's nose, which is a must for any true dog nerd.
