Stephen McDonough holds a BA Degree in History from The Ohio State University. Also, he served as an Infantry Soldier in the US Army. In 1991, he participated in the 1st Persian Gulf War/Liberation of Kuwait as a member of a scout unit, 1st Infantry Division "Big Red One". His main interest are in Chinese History, Art, Literature, and the 3 treasures of Taoism, Confucianism, and Chan (Zen) Buddhism. Also, influence by Chinese, English, and Japanese poetry. His favorite book of all-time is the Chinese Classic Novel: Three Kingdoms by Luo Guanzhong (Moss Roberts, Translator). Finally, Stephen enjoys doing Chinese style painting and western oil painting.
