Graduated from Southern Virginia University with degrees in History and Art. I've been writing stories since I can remember. In Basic Training for the army, after lights out, I'd take my flashlight and notepad and write stories. It's a fundamental part of who I am. I've done two tours in Iraq and lived in Italy, both experiences have completely changed how I see the world. Most of my stories deal with dire situations but there's always hope and joy if you seek them out.
