Mariska de Wild-Scholten (1964) studied geology at Utrecht University in the Netherlands where she specialized in the chemistry of the earth. As a profession she is investigating the environmental impacts of the production of photovoltaic systems and has published many papers on this topic and was invited speaker on several conferences. Since February 2011 she is self-employed consultant on the same topic. Using her good knowledge on retrieving and judging scientific literature she was able to find out the triggers for her health complaints which are now shared in this book.
