Dean H. Curtis is the chairman and cofounder of Interweave Solutions, a non-profit organization that has created over one hundred self-reliance associations worldwide and developed materials to help Latinos succeed in education in the United States. Prior to creating Interweave Solutions, Dean was a successful entrepreneur who established and sold a business with over 500 employees, was a former Assistant Professor of Communication and Business at the University of Nebraska, Kearney, and taught high school in Spanish Fork, Utah. Dean completed his PhD coursework at the University of Nebraska, Lincoln (starting a business instead of writing a dissertation) and has a masters and bachelor’s degree from Brigham Young University. Dean Curtis and his family lived three years in Mexico while serving as president of the Tampico, Mexico Mission for his church. He is the father of nine children. He has traveled worldwide, teaching principles of self-reliance.
