The author pledges to donate the proceedings from the sale of this book to one of the many charitable foundations that he is associated with. He firmly believes that while our earnings show how we make a living, our contributions to the society show how we make a life.A little about what this book is all about - The book, in reality, is a beautiful compilation of my personal and professional experiences and describes the various teachings that Life offered to me during all these years.I was always taught that to become wise, you have to make decisions in the form of choices. If your choice is good, it will help you climb a step ahead on the life ladder. But if it backfires, then a unique opportunity is offered to un-learn and re-learn it in such a manner that makes you successful on its next application.Life is not only stranger than we can imagine, it is more mysterious; one which is like a riddle wrapped in an enigma. Life is also the single-most complex phenomenon to understand after the human brain. Each of us has a unique life to live and each one of us deal with it even more uniquely making it almost impossible to have one size that fits all. However, the book would surely help us create a framework which can help all of us lead and live our life better, happily and blissfully.

From the Author:

In a recent conversation, I was asked to pick and choose the chapters that I liked the best. I felt just like that helpless mother who has been asked to rank her own children in the order of her liking. After playing tug-of-war with myself for a while, I decided to pick some of the most interesting incidents in my life, now dressed as chapters on the table waiting to be relished. The first one that comes to my mind is "Dial YES for disaster". It describes about the importance of saying NO to many things that cross our lives whether personal or professional. Saying NO is one of the most difficult things to do and I realized over years that if you can say NO with ease and confidence, then you would surely be successful one day. The second one in the last is "Don't be a dinosaur". Change is inevitable and this chapter describes those incidents of my life which taught me this fundamental truth the hard way. Adopting and then adapting to the change is difficult for sure but can be rewarding in the long run.The third one is "Great Expectations". It is special because my father taught me one of the best lessons of my life on my first day of graduate college. Years later, I figured it out that I started respecting my father more than ever after this incident. The fourth one is "Its all about the franchise and the character". I picked this one because most of the times, we forget that visiting cards are just a piece of paper and we must not expect from a 3.5 x 2 inches paper to define who we are and what respect do we carry (in 'real') in other people's minds and hearts. The fifth one is "The secret of the dragon scroll". I chose this one because it is important for all of us to know the power of believing in yourself. Just like charity begins at home, the road to success starts from your belief in yourself. The sixth one is obvious: "Being Human". After that, we as human beings, have stopped being human. Nothing could be more rewarding than helping a blind man cross the road and gifting a pair of your used clothes to the needy. Life's one line definition. The next in line is "Do yourself a favor...meet them". Most of the time, we tend to forget the relations that are important to us and ignore the ingredient which is required to make them tasty - your time above everything else. The one that comes next in my list is "The law of opposites". During all these years, I have learnt that if I practice this law correctly, I can virtually keep my sorrows miles away from me. A truth of life blessed upon me by one of my best friends.Ninth in my list is "Lets un-complicate". This one is special because we saved a marriage from breaking up. Only after this incident did I realize that if we communicate well and keep a check on our ego, we can literally save thousands of marriages from separations.Number ten is "The 007 principles". It is special because he was my first true idol after I joined the corporate world after my graduation. It is said that for the building to be strong, the foundation has to be solid. The chapter describes a wonderful human being who laid a granite foundation in the very first year of my corporate life.

About the Author:

Except aging gracefully, nothing much has changed ever since he completed his first book, Life is a pack of 52 cards. He has always believed in the power of observing nature and surroundings and learn from it. Each one of us is unique only if we see with the right eyes. He is currently very excited about his upcoming book, Dear Sam, which un-covers the beautiful relationship between a father and a son.
