This is the first truly holistic theory of evolution. It has only been possible in recent years because of new discoveries in quantum physicists, genetics, and other sciences. These new discoveries have to do with awareness and consciousness. It opens the door to the mind and brain for the first time and allows the effects of awareness on evolution to be confirmed. The entire nervous system is designed to take in sensory information and analyze it and take appropriate action to find food, foe and maneuver in the environment. It does so with sensors in neurons that can be traced back to the first one celled organisms that use rudimentary sensors for the exactly the same functions to detect food foe and the environment. We are neuro-physiologists, and have found the connection between awareness in all living beings in evolution (including ourselves). In short, because of these sensors and the discoveries of quantum physics one can see where all organisms are alive and create their own evolution, not by chance but to fulfill needs and change! It demonstrates the effects of awareness and consciousness (“mind”) on evolution which is profound. For those unfamiliar with these new discoveries, it may sound strange but as one reads the text, these issues are clarified and supported by classical biochemistry, neuro-physiology genetics, epigenetics and archeology and sufficient quantum physics to see its relationship with this holistic theory. It refutes the idea that all organisms as automatons, because we evolved from these very organisms and have awareness and consciousness that had to evolve from them, and it does! For the first time we can understand the role of subjective elements (emotions, urges and convictions) in directing change, just as we find in ourselves and to lesser degrees, in all life. These elements were forbidden in the material philosophies of the 19th century and including them makes the holistic theory radically different from previous theories. Today, we can break out of these constraints because we have proof that they exist in all organisms, holistically. This theory was part of a much larger text: The Anatomy of Art and Stimulation and copyrighted in 1990. No one would publish it because it was considered too radical a theory. With this abbreviated version of evolution of consciousness, from the larger text, it will be considered ever more radical, but the first holistic theory of evolution ever presented. It explains why living things induce their own evolution. It is designed for the general reader who has an interest is science and all terms are defined and explained.
