About the Author:

Miranda J. Houston earned a Masters Degree in Social Work from St. Louis University. She is currently a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker with more than twenty five years of experience in the areas of mental health and child welfare. She currently works in the area of Emergency Behavioral Medicine and as a private practitioner specializing in working with women in abusive/predatory relationships. "My approach to working with women in abusive/predatory relationships is unique and based on a combination of educational, professional and personal experiences and has been designed to assist women in detaching from and avoiding these "toxic" relationships".
