Sophia Nicole Barrett-Benton is the wife of Ronald L. Benton and the mother of Caleb and Joshua Benton. She is the daughter of Ernest and Mamie Barrett of Farmville, NC. She resides in Greenville, NC. She graduated from Shaw University with a Bachelor degree in Social Work in 2004. Nicole surrendered her life to Christ as a teenager and though she has had some major bumps and bruises through life she continues to hold to God's unchanging hand! She has two sisters Mamie Faye Barrett-White (Bryan), Denise Barrett-Blount (LaMichael), and Ernest Edward Barrett (Vassie). She loves family, laughing and just enjoying the simple things in life but most of all she loves Jesus. She has gained much wisdom throughout her experiences in life. Nicole loves to inspire, encourage and motivate others to reach their full potential in life. She loves to encourage by writing! Writing has become one way she gets to express herself vividly, confidently and boldly.
