“Pain makes you stronger; tears make you braver. Heartbreak makes you wiser...So, thank the past for a better future” Often we are faced with discouragements and heartaches that we cannot understand. As children of God, however, we must learn never to question the ways of our God but simply to say “Have Thine own way, Lord! Have Thine own way! Thou art the Potter, I am the clay. Mold me and make me after Thy will, while I am waiting yielded and still.” Adelaide Pollard (1862-1934) Isaiah 64:8 tells us that we are “the clay,” being made into vessels in the Potter’s hands. Proverbs 4:23 tells us to guard our hearts, for “out of it are the issues of life.” May we always keep our hearts pure and right with our God. The Potter has a specific plan for each of His vessels, and yielding to His way will bring Glory to the Kingdom.
