The stories of the other colorful personalities she meets on her way are interwoven with her own story – her former love, who is an Interpol agent, a seductress called Loretta, a most skillful young art thief as well as the ruthless underworld boss who deals with stolen works of art. All the characters are connected by the theme of real love and a passion for art and money, as well as a touch of magic.

About the Author:

Stasy Kara is a journalist with two passions – travelling and writing about it. She graduated in art history and international journalism. For two years she travelled around the world from Columbia to Indonesia, from Cape Verde to Ukraine, from Egypt to Russia, in order to get to know these places better. The job gave her the opportunity to interview Presidents and Ministers as well as ordinary and interesting people on the streets of these exotic places. The President of Ukraine, Victor Yushchenko, kissed her hand and the President of Columbia, Alvaro Uribe, kissed her on the cheek when they began their interviews with her. Television became her passion when she came back to Bulgaria and she has been a marketing expert, a reporter, and a morning show presenter. Stasy does not believe in having a favorite place, a favorite book or a movie: there are simply too many of them, and in this life it`s good to try everything. ‘Fake is a State of Mind’ is her debut novel.
