Fourat Janabi is a reader, a photographer, an explorer, an idiot, and now a writer. Because of these qualities, he likes to think he's important. He was born in Algeria, moved to Poland at six-months old to begin his communist training, then to Australia at five-years-old. He worked in Baghdad while a war was waging, in Bahrain while riots were ensuing, and in Saudi Arabia where women don’t exist. He moved to Italy where a simple task takes days, and travels all around the world to explore its myriad possibilities and limitless beauty. While exploring twenty-five countries on five continents, speaking bad Italian, horrible Spanish, and passable Arabic; he has befriended Americans, Arabs, Australians, Brazilians, Chileans, Italians, and New Zealanders, and many, many others of varying countries, all while faithfully remaining the odd one out.
