Susan Scheid is part of the vibrant poetry community in Washington, DC. She writes with an eye for the absurd and a conscience for social justice. Her previous publications include Tidal Basin Review, Requiem, Rose Red Review, The Unrorean, Bark!, Bark Two, and the chapbook Poetic Art. She holds a B.A. in Anthropology, teaches writing workshops and was Artist-in-Residence at the Noyes School of Rhythm in Connecticut. She lives with her three cats, two sons and one husband in the Brookland area of DC, where she contributes to neighborhood character through her writing, garden and quirky sense of humor.
