Recently, Beyonce was named The World's Most Beautiful Woman by People magazine. The following is David Grant Miller's response. This book is not intended to minimize the hard work and sacrifice that got Beyonce to where she is today. Instead, its purpose is to point out an unchanging truth I believe she and many other good-hearted women already know. Similar to how the boyfriend described in Beyonce's hit song can easily be replaced, she, too, can easily be replaced in her career as an entertainer, despite all that she has achieved. Because, when it comes to careers, regardless of the level of success, fame, and wealth, NOBODY is irreplaceable. There is only one exception: a Mother. As the most challenging career on earth, Motherhood requires the ongoing sacrifice of body, time, personal interests, sleep, and often wealth. And, it yields very little recognition, no applause or awards, and pays absolutely nothing. So why did my wife choose raising 7 children as her life's work, even when society tells her she is being untrue to herself, unambitious, and even unintelligent? My beautiful bride, Aimee, KNOWS who she really is: a woman with more power, influence, and significance than any other person in any other career on earth. Bottom Line: she KNOWS that in her career as a Mother, she is - truly - irreplaceable. And so, I respectfully disagree with People Magazine, and hereby challenge Beyonce's title as "The World's Most Beautiful Woman," based on the principles contained within the pages of this book. This well-written, inspiring book is full of tantalizing, real-life experiences of the author, his wife Aimee, and their children and is full of true stories and lots of humour. Move Over Beyonce! MY WIFE is The Most Beautiful Woman in the World also discusses real life challenges through true stories that every mother can relate to and is full of appreciation, praise, and recognition for all mothers whose Herculean efforts so often go unnoticed.
