About the Author:
Anita Waggoner is the author. The Ranch at Coyote Springs is her third novel. Her first novel, Farewell to Freedom, was released in December 2010; it has received five star reviews and was named the winner for Best Fiction in the 2011 National Indie Excellence Book Awards contest. Anita Waggoner was chosen as a winner in the 2011 Author Show contest “50 Great Authors You Should Be Reading.” A second novel, Charleston Cheat, was released in June 2012, and is receiving great reviews. She has also written a collection of short stories, and a screenplay based on the novel Farewell to Freedom. Her stories are all based somewhat on real life characters; and true life experiences. Anita is a maverick--a strong, independent individual, who has accomplished much in life by using good judgment. She has a great foundation, and the ability to show readers how to overcome hurdles, and disappointments, in their own lives. Anita Waggoner’s integrity, character and tenacity are paramount. She was born in Omak, Washington, and now resides in Las Vegas, Nevada. She has enjoyed story telling from a young age. She has overcome many obstacles in her life by sheer persistence.
