Monica and Shawn have been happily married for 15 years. They have a 16 year old daughter named Nicole, that has a boyfriend and a best friend that are around all the time. It's Christmas, and school is out. Teachers and Students get to experience some level of liberty not offered to other working class people. But being home for this specific small family will involve a lot of unexpected circumstances that will threaten to tear this family apart. Monica and Shawn's marriage gets tested when Shawn's ex girlfriend Stephanie see's Shawn and tells him that she is losing her house and she has no where to stay. Now being the Christian that he is, he decides to let her come and stay with his family. Stephanie is Babylon. Stephanie will test Shawn to see if he really is happy in his marriage and to see if she can steal him from Monica. Monica will be tested to see if she can really be a good christian and help Stephanie and not show Shawn that she doesn't trust him. Everyone is affected by Stephanie's presence. Sherrie is Monica's friend who will give her support and advice. Walter is Shawn's friend who will give him support and advice. Pastor Johnson tops of the supporting cast. Babylon and the Bride is a play about love, lust, family, friendship and forgiveness. As Christmas Day fast approaches, the foundation that has kept this family together may just be shattered beyond repair.
