The Order of Idin has guarded the four realms of creation for all of living memory. When Anastae discovers that the mysterious Shar'kai is threatened, she sends Saela and her friends off to the realm of Fara'din to find the Shar'kai and protect it. Saela thinks she is ready, and she will need to be ready, because before her adventure is over she will meet a man from her past, a dark and powerful Mage who has influenced the course of Saela's life more than she knows. Saela will turn to her friends for help...but her friends may not always be there.
