PawPrints in the Sand: Mission Accomplished. A heartwarming dog book for all doglovers.

In its prequel, Paw Prints in the Sand, you read the heartwarming story aboutFoxy, the Nova Scotia Duck Tolling retriever who was sold to the owners of apuppy mill. Her story is one of encouragement and enables us to realize howimportant it is to rescue dogs living in the same type of cruel environment. The inspirational sequel continues when a man suffering with what some mightcall a critical mid-life crisis is contemplating life.
The game of life. It's achallenging one-- sometimes breeding days of triumph while other timespropagating feelings of despair.
Many have found a way toenjoy a balance-- counting their blessings when times are good and findingcomfort with loved ones when the cards are stacked against them.
Others are not asfortunate, taking life's trials to heart, letting them fester into the verydepths of their soul, allowing tragedy to dig seemingly irreparable trenches intheir hearts.
What they may not realizeis that there is a way to tunnel themselves out and patch those dark holes. Thepicture they've painted for themselves might appear dismal and bleak, but ifthey make the choice to paint with a different brush, they have the power tochange their outlook--quite often with a little help.
You often hear storiesabout how people rescue dogs, but quite often, it is the opposite that is true. For Harrison Carter, his canvas couldn't have displayed a more dreadful future, but that was about to turn around for him. He was about to discover one of thebest kept secrets for happiness. One he never thought could...and would changehis life forever. It just so happened that it involved a four-legged creaturewith a furry coat and a fluffy tail.
A fictional novella aboutdogs

About the Author:

Author of Dog Books and Thrillers! "Bringing awareness about dog adoption and rescue, one dog at a time!" I live in Las Vegas, NV with my husband and two retrievers. I had written my first book about dogs, Finally Home in the early part of 2010. Throughout my years of living with Buddy, our golden retriever, I always wanted to get his stories down on paper. They were just too comical to keep to myself. If you're reading this, then you might as well know, I am a die-hard dog lover and they are my inspiration for writing...especially dog books. I volunteer with a few animal rescue groups throughout Las Vegas when time permits. Though not all of my books are for dog-lovers, most do have a dog making an appearance now and then. I enjoy writing about their antics and incorporate them in a few of my thrillers. In addition, I donate a portion of the proceeds from the sale of each book to various animal rescue groups. Since 2010, I've written ten books consisting of five dog books, one inspirational book of quotes and four thrillers. You might also want to know that I am an indie author. Yep, I self-publish all of my books, create my own covers and format my own books. It has been a learning experience and after two years, I've learned more and more about the world of publishing. Even through the trial and error stage, it has been a fascinating experience. I've met a wonderful group of creative indie authors, as well as dog-lovers and readers in general from all over the world. The support, advice and wisdom I have received has been phenomenal. You may notice that I have a very dark mind and an equally off-beat and witty sense of humor. Sometimes you'll find it revealed in my books. Hope you enjoy them and many thanks for stopping by.facebook.com/goldenbooks1

Book Description Createspace, United States, 2013. Paperback. Condition: New. Language: English . Brand New Book ***** Print on Demand *****. In the prequel, Paw Prints in the Sand, you read the heartwarming story about Foxy, the Nova Scotia Duck Tolling retriever who was mistakenly sold to the owners of a puppy mill and lives to tell about it. Her story is one of encouragement and hope and enables us to realize how important it is to band together and save the lives of other dogs living in the same type of cruel environment. That is, if you can truly call it living. After all, these poor dogs are merely existing in cramped cages without proper food, exercise, medicine or love. The inspirational sequel continues with a bit of a twist. A man suffering with what some might call a critical mid-life crisis (and then some) is contemplating life and trying desperately to find reasons to stay alive. His wife left him, he hates his job and despises his less-than-appreciative boss. Life as he knows it is pointless. A chance situation gives him reason to smile and he finds himself conversing with a couple of men who are excited to begin a new venture building a modern dog shelter called, Paw Prints in the Sand. Often, we hear about dogs that have been rescued by humans, but rarely do we acknowledge that the opposite is actually true. Discover how Harrison s life is drastically changed by opening his heart to these four-legged creatures. You ll find yourself in agreement that often it is our furry friends that rescue us just as much as we rescue them. Seller Inventory # APC9781481000055
