About the Author:

Jasper Burns is the author of numerous articles and books about ancient history and coins and natural history subjects, including fossils and fossil collecting. His published titles include "Great Women of Imperial Rome" (Routledge, 2006), "Vipsania: A Roman Odyssey" (Pietas, 2006), "Fossil Collecting in the Mid-Atlantic States" (Johns Hopkins University Press, 1991), and many others.
