Summer of '69 is a novel of the sixties. Two young men, Bob Balzak, an ex-Marine recently returned from Vietnam, and James Johnson, recalcitrant war protestor, take a break their summer break from the University of Washington and travel to Mexico on an odyssey that takes them south of the border on the adventure of their lives ultimately ending up at Woodstock where music, drugs and sex all merge to inspire and challenge the future of a generation.

About the Author:

James J. Nystrom is a writer and publisher living in Bothell, Washington. He has been published in the Seattle Times, Poetry Northwest and The University of Washington Daily. He written a non-fiction book of Pacific Northwest history entitled The Saga of the Outlaw Harry Tracy published by So Right Press (currently available in print at Amazon.com and as an e-book at Kindle.
