9781481090568: Escorting the dead: My life as a psychopomp

Anyone who has ever been touched by the death of a friend or loved one will want to read this book. It can help you understand that death isn’t the end, it’s merely another step in life’s path. This book touches on a subject that is meaningful to all us, death and the afterlife. Read how a bicycle accident and near death experience changed the author's life along with her understanding of life and death. Out of this experience also came her job of escorting the dead to the afterlife. A job that she says, “...is filled with as much heartache as it is joy. It’s a job that has taught me a lot about compassion and love, but most of all, it has taught me that death isn’t the end of life.” The accident opened up a world that most us never see until we die; however, for her, it’s a world that she visits often while escorting departing souls to their new existence in the afterlife.

About the Author:

I'm a photographer, as well as a writer. I have been nominated for Amateur Photographer of the Year by the National Amateur Society of Photographers in recent years, and samples of my photographic works have been displayed during the NASP's annual symposium giving all the attendees from over a dozen countries a chance to view my unique artistry.
I have received two awards from the International Society of Photographers--one was Outstanding Amateur Photographer and the other was the Outstanding Achievements award. I have also been given the esteemed Golden Leaf award from Field and Forest for my exceptional work in nature photography.

I have been capturing the beauty of the world around me since I received my first camera at the age of 9. I have photos appearing in several photographic anthologies: "Images of the Mind" and "Forever in a Moment". I also have photos appearing in the table-top books: "Journey Into the Imagination" and "Wandering Spirits". My works have been shown by several local, prestigious galleries: Old Hyde Park Art Gallery, The Tampa Gallery of Photographic Arts, and AUI of Tampa Bay.

Now you can purchase some compilations of my photography and prose. My Nature of Life series contain exquisite photos that are enhanced by the online viewing capabilities available with today's technology.

To find individual copies of my photographic works, you can go to zazzle.com/tdgallery*. There you can view and purchase posters, mugs, t-shirts, bumper stickers, and more.
