Live, love, laugh and be happy: applying old-fashioned values to a highly competitive business world. Live also challenges us to seek balance in our lives between family, work and friends. Unless readers are ethically predisposed by significant and positive formative experience, most of today’s books may fail to inspire us to approach work with personal integrity. Live will dramatically change that dynamic to improve reader reaction and understanding of ethical business conduct by combining masterful storytelling through the craft and imagination of a novel, with the singular purpose of a moral precept as thoughtful analysis. Take a journey through events in China to New York, to encounter the author’s colorful friends and colleagues. Their actions are used as examples to be juxtaposed against the story of values-based lessons learned by a son, from a father born into the Greatest Generation. The story and examples are irrevocably bound together in Live until a moral conclusion is reached: leaving the reader with enduring musing into their own moral responsibility in the workplace and the balanced life Live champions, long after Live’s last page is turned!

JF Krizan was born in New York City, the son of William G. and Emily B. Krizan. He graduated from Ridgewood High School, Ridgewood, New Jersey, in 1969 and from Davis & Elkins College with a BS in Management in 1973. He attended the MBA program at West Virginia University from 1974-1975. During the next thirty-five years, Mr. Krizan became a most discerning executive through his association with seventeen companies, through conventional employment and by founding or co-founding nine of them. He knows that his moral challenges and discoveries within those seventeen companies have meaning for any other employee, business owner, business student or curious mind. Mr. Krizan now devotes all of his time to writing and is managing director of Shelter Rock Grant Writing Associates, an organization which he founded in 2011. Mr. Krizan is a Life Member of American Mensa. “If I didn’t believe that business sustainability can be increased through the application of traditional values, that a shift in the current business paradigm is critical to our times and that happiness from living a more balanced life is achievable, Live could not have been written.”
