Kimberly Belfer has been a marine science and conservation educator for many years, improving upon her interpretive skills and program development techniques over the last ten years. From teaching students ages 5 through 18 to developing teacher trainers, she has become an expert in marine ecosystem and conservation education. As an Education Coordinator, working as an independent contractor and freelancer, she is publishing this guide book to assist current and future educators to continue to "Leave No Child Inside."
She received a B.S. degree in Marine Biology, with a minor in Environmental Studies, from The Richard Stockton College of NJ and began her education career working seasonally with Alliance for a Living Ocean and the NJ Sea Grant Consortium. In 2005 and 2006, she had the amazing experience to be a part of a graduate program and receive her M.S. degree in Conservation Biology from James Cook University, Townsville, Australia.
Over the last fifteen years, she has worked for various employers and volunteered with organizations as an educator, volunteer coordinator, program manager, and recently as a freelance education program consultant.
