The authors of this book C Phillips and D Roach are identical twin sisters from Wales. They both have a Bachelor of Science degree with honours and a Master of Science degree. Their first book entitled ‘Hypothyroidism in Childhood and Adulthood A personal perspective and scientific standpoint’ was published by Nottingham University Press in 2006 and was factual. In their first book, they describe their recovery from hypothyroidism in childhood and their recovery from under-treated hypothyroidism in adulthood. ‘Three Times the Trouble’ is their second book and this time, they have produced a work of romantic fiction. However, their novel highlights the impact of hypothyroidism by showing its effect upon the lives of some of the fictional characters within the story.
