This Book was originally published in 2007 under the name Innovation's Missing Link and is still available under that title. The purpose of this edition is to be able to offer a lower price. The original publisher limited that ability. I have not removed the original version in order to preserve the reviews.
Drawing upon 37 years of experience in the trenches, Unlocking Human Potential thoroughly defines the process of innovation without resorting to exhaustive statistics and academic analysis. Its narrative style and numerous true stories read more like a novel than a business book, yet no book on the topic of creativity and innovation is more comprehensive.
Time tested techniques are combined with new, practical, and provocative ideas for optimal results. Respect for diversity and human nature is consistently emphasized. The reader need not search for the important points of any discussion, since they are clearly identified, developed, and summarized throughout the book.

For 23 years prior to his retirement in 2001, Al Judge headed up a New Product Concept Group for Black & Decker. The nature of his job exposed him to all aspects of the business and his time on the Board of Directors of PDMA broadened his perspective of corporate innovation and product development. Significant assignments included the Apollo Lunar Surface Drill and the battery powered products that it birthed. Although he is a member of Mensa, graduated from Johns Hopkins University with honors, and was elected to Tau Beta Pi, his inclinations are more practical than academic.
