About the Author:

Stacey Lorinn Joy, a second generation native Angeleno, has loved poetry and writing since she was a teenager. When she lost her mother to cancer in 2010, she overcame her grief by finding peace within the pages of her poetry journal. Stacey launched her Naked Reflections blog as a form of daily therapy. The more she wrote, the closer she was to writing her first book. Those who know Stacey, consult her for anything grammar, spelling, or writing related. Coincidentally, she self-published her debut book without paying for assistance. She has always said, "I can do it myself," and that is what she did.
