G. K. Gifford is a former submarine sailor, avid game player, inventor of more than 50 chess variants, sketchbook artist, amateur guitar and ukulele player, builder of cigar box guitars, and author who is currently employed as a technical writer in the healthcare industry. Planet of Female Humanoids is his first published novel. However, it is preceded by two other works the author penned: "The Bermuda Pie-Angle, Cartoons and Word Play" and "Thai Chess and Cambodian Chess (Makruk and Ouk Chatrang)." Gifford also co-authored the chess book, "Winning with the Krazy Kat and Old Hippo." He currently resides near Cleveland, Ohio with his wife and three of four children and three cats. He is now working on a fifth book and plans to follow that with others.
