About the Author:

Michael and Barbara Barry are the owners and operators of The Sun Dog Cafe in Mongoose Junction, and have lived on St. John since 1995. Michael’s marketing background includes all media having served as Director of Marketing for Z Foodserv, a twelve unit restaurant chain in New York plus a substantial amount of restaurant marketing consulting. Locally, he’s contributed his graphic and marketing expertise to Gerald Singers books, Trinidad Charlie’s Hot Sauce, and the Mongoose Junction Merchants Association. He has served as President of the Skytop Homeowners Association and of the Gifft Hill School Administrative Board. Barbara serves as the Athletic Director of the Gifft Hill School, where our son Jackson attends the tenth grade.
