I live in Hummelstown, Pennsylvania—about two miles from Hershey Park, if you enjoy chocolate or are a fan of amusement park rides. My deceased husband, Frank, loved Hershey Park, and when I moved here I asked the Lord, “Why here? Why Hershey?” Frank’s the one who loved Hershey but over time I have come to love it too. I was born in Jamestown, New York, the youngest of four girls. My parents were from Sweden, so I’m the first generation born in America. I grew up in Falconer, New York, and after we married we moved to Hornell, New York. We lived in our funeral home in Hornell, where we raised our girls. We moved to Lewisberry, Pennsylvania, to buy a funeral home in 1984, it was a move of the Lord, but that’s another story... I’m a member of Christ Community Church in Camp Hill, Pennsylvania, and have been there for twenty-eight years. Dave Hess is the pastor, and I’m very blessed to be in the body of Christ at this church. I have three beautiful, married daughters and have been blessed with seven grandchildren—five granddaughters and two grandsons. My heart cry as you read my book (which is my testimony of the greatness of Christ in my life) is that you will come into a personal relationship with Jesus—and if you already know Him, that you will be drawn even deeper and closer to Him. The miracles shared throughout this book—the Lord sending people to me I had not seen in years to pray for me; people I didn’t know giving me words from the Father to encourage me; the wonderful gift of knowing my angel was protecting me; and many more, point to a personal and loving Savior who is undeniable.
