Forced to abandon their homes, a Native American Alliance with their allies struggle to preserve their independence. A corrupted world government has required all individuals to submit to micro chip and advanced computerized registration as a means to more effectively regulate the world's commerce - and population. In their efforts to accomplish this, the self reliant independence of the People of the Nations and their Allies are viewed as a threat, due to their ability to provide for and protect themselves without the increasing costs and interference of outside regulatory restrictions. But expanding intergalactic ambitions need a completely dominated Earth as their base. So war is declared against them, and when it becomes apparent that they cannot be crushed, they are pushed back until they are driven off of the planet. Sustaining their Constitutional Republic and faith in their Supreme Creator through the conflict, the Native Alliance launches their battered Nation into space, where they are soon befriended by a fleet of Lightships who know their Creator. These bionic starships are living, intelligent creatures commanded by merging with the hearts and minds of their human crews. The youth of the Nations, led by their Leaders and honoring their families' Native American ideals in the truest tradition of courage, spearhead an effort prompted by the sacrifices of their new friends, to push back the evil in a series of battles to reclaim their homes and their freedom. The adventures, pain and trials lead to growth, understanding and friendships - some quite unexpected - and an unveiling of the real threat to not only their independence, but to the comprehension and responsibilities of their personal freedoms as well. As a Lightship during a storm at sea can lead a struggling ship safely past the reefs, so these Intergalactic Lightships, with their warmth and courage, take the youth they love through the adventures of their lives - and into their hearts. Here the believing, faithful youth of God are the heroes and heroines. Their fortitude in the foundation of their faith, families and their People only exemplify what nature and history has taught all along - that Integrity is the true measure of one's courage, whether it be in an Individual, a Family, or a Nation.

About the Author:
W.K. De Vaney grew up as a Bush Alaskan and commercial fisherman while Alaska was still growing from a Territory into statehood, and his experiences on land and sea would fill a book on its own. From his service during the Vietnam conflict as a K-9 M.P. to kayaqing the Canadian Arctic's Northwest Passage, his life has been full and diversified. And still is. W.K. De Vaney and his talented Wife, Kimberly, live through the Nor'Easters of Downeast Maine in their coastal home with their Jeeps, her art, his boats, their pack of wild animals (the term domestic pets is used loosely there), and frequent visits from the more adventurous members of their grown family.
