There hadn't been a Kallendra for hundreds of years. Without the guidance of a Kallendra the Arnean Empire had begun to fall apart. Then the rumors of a special child started and the priests of the Temple of Selgan began planning the rebirth of their Empire. The priests return to glory would cost others their freedom, especially Lorelei Maumet. If she is anointed the wars will begin. When Lorelei was thirteen years old, the priests came for her. They had decided that she was the Kallendra and would have to learn how to conduct herself. She was taken from her parents and hidden in an old castle where she was taught how to behave as the living representative of Selgan. Meanwhile, on another arm of the Milky Way, the Galactic Council of Planets had also heard the rumors. The Council decided that a galactic war was not an option and they called on the Galactic Police Force to sanction the Kallendra. Lieutenant Jason Broderick, top operative of the Galactic Police Force was sent to Arnea to stop the wars. Before he reaches his target she speaks to him telepathically and convinces him to rescue her from the priests. Then their adventure begins.

Brian P. Coane lives in Connecticut with his wife and children. He is a graduate of Central Connecticut State University with a BS in Industrial Technology and a MS in Counseling Psychology. He has worked in the aerospace industry as a designer for over forty years and part time as a Psychotherapist for over ten years. He is an avid fisherman and outdoorsman. He builds his own boats from the trees in his yard and is currently finishing a 22 ft. cabin cruiser.
