Lead by the protagonist Savitri, it revolves around the life of five women and their families. The book witnesses the process rediscovery, going the various phases of realization, actualization and the subsequent changes.

About the Author:

Aakaanksha Singh was born in the royal family of Haldaur, Uttar pradesh in the year 1975. She spent most of childhood at the prestigious boarding school, Welham Girl's School, Dehradun '93 batch. As a teenager she always, romanticized with ideas and imagination. Her father's interest in quality education led her to Miranda House, Delhi University. Where she received her graduation in Philosophy Honours '96 batch, along with some of the finest brains in India. Married to a state services beaurocrat Manoj Singh in the year 1997, she chose to give her best to her family. During this time she proudly nurtured her two children Pradyumna aged 13 and Meenakshi aged 9. However she pursued her studies and went on to do her post graduation in English literature during this period. Currently, they are residing in Muzaffarnagar, Uttar Pradesh. Having a mind full of ideas and a voice that speaks for all, and the love of life, made her venture into the field of writing. A thought which she had always loved and cherished. Having lived the life of a thinking, well read housewife, she first had experience of the pains and pleasures of typical indian housewife. The herculean ask of being a housewife, the immense commitment and conviction of putting others before self and the complexities within and outside and encouragement from friends is what prompted Aakaanksha to pen down her first fiction titled " . . . Yes! I Matter"
