About the Author:

Scott Hite is a Louisville attorney who sought out a book that lists and ranks Kentucky's best golf courses and best golf holes that could be played by anyone at a moment's notice. However, he failed to find anything even close. So he decided to research and write that book himself. Armed with a $5.00 Kentucky map from Wal-Mart and some preliminary reseach on the internet, he embarked on a year-long odyssey to all corners of the state with a keen eye on specific details that matter to golfers while adding unique factors such as "walkability" and "bluegrass" aesthetics. The result is a must-have book for anyone who appreciates value golf while exploring the bluegrass state. He carries an 8 handicap and lives in Bardstown, Kentucky which is the perfect location to start a one-tank trip to any of Kentucky's finest golf courses that anyone can play.
