Towards the end of June 2011, I walked up to Viola Nasuuna, my friend and told her that I felt in my heart for us to dedicate the coming month of July to God in prayer and fasting. She welcomed the idea; I asked her for a notebook in which to write everything God would say about her. We prayed together every morning, lunch break, and evening. My wife Winnie joined us in prayer over the phone. At the end of our prayer and fasting, I had not written anything in the book; God had simply not said anything to me about Viola. Of course you can imagine that Viola was not amused with me. However on 26th December 2011, God visited our home in Entebbe and asked my wife and I to write the words He would speak, not just for our friend Viola but for every single lady in the world that is calling on His name for a husband. So we faithfully penned "The Single Lady’s Prayer Guide for a Husband" in the span of one week. God desires for both single ladies and men seeking spouses and marriage to pray to Him not in accordance with their thoughts or feelings, but in accordance with His established will for their lives. This book spells out God's established will for every lady seeking marriage that He desires her to mention to Him when praying for a husband. It is not meant to answer all the questions; it is not a guarantee of a perfect husband. It is meant to offer direction and to help women know what to pray for as they wait upon the Lord for a husband. It is also a great resource for the married couples seeking to put their marriages on track or simply discover new facts to better their marriages. Gerald Kateu Author
