Steven Philip Jones (1960 - ) was born in Lincoln, Nebraska and has spent most of his life living in eastern Iowa. Steven has written comic books, webcomics, graphic novels, fiction novels for young adults and adults, radio scripts, non-fiction and advertising pieces. His comics and webcomics credits include Nightlinger, Dracula, Curious Cases of Sherlock Holmes, Talismen: Return of the Exile, Wolverstone & Davis: Street Heroes, Mighty 1, Re-Animator, Tatters and Invaders From Mars. Steven’s young adult novels include Talismen: The Knightmare Knife, Henrietta Hex: Shadows from the Past and Wizard Academies: The House with the Witch’s Hat, and he is also the author of the mystery adventure King of Harlem and the western Bushwhackers. Steven has also taught courses in comic book writing and is the author of Comics Writing: Communicating with Comic Books. A graduate of the University of Iowa, he majored in Journalism and Religion and was accepted into Iowa's prestigious Writers’ Workshop MFA Program in 1990.
