She explores issues of sexual orientation, alcoholism, self esteem and depression and how she was able to find peace and acceptance when she became aware of the lessons of new thought spirituality known as Science of Mind and Spirit, a spirituality where all are welcomed.

Eve Zachary, also known as Lori Skocik Siegel, was born in Uniontown, Pennsylvania July 29, 1964. She is a veteran of both the U.S. Navy and the Army National Guard, which led her to embrace a love of peace. She has a baccalaureate degree in Political Science from the California University of Pennsylvania. She is a member of The United Centers for Spiritual Living, an international group of centers that embrace the Science of Mind and Spirit teachings of Ernest Holmes, a teaching which respects all world religions in the belief that, at their core, all religions really share the same message, love. Through her faith she has learned to see obstacles as challenges and dark times as times of learning, which is reflected in her poetry and writing. In this book, she writes about her experience of moving from fear to faith and into new age spirituality.
