Denise Galipeau was born in a small francophone town in northern Ontario, Canada. At about age ten her family moved to Toronto where she lived until 1966. By the time she moved out on her own at age seventeen, the family had moved some ten times. Her nomadic course was set. She also lived in Montreal, Calgary, and ultimately Vancouver before retiring and moving to Oaxaca, Mexico. Her last move was number thirty-seven. She also had at least twelve full time permanent jobs and several temp jobs along the way, almost all in the communications industry. Still, she is mentally stable. Really.
