Susan Finn Carter is a National Board Certified Teacher currently teaching and writing in the St. Louis area. Carter is an accomplished teacher and the winner of multiple awards including the 2011 PBS Teacher Innovation Award, 2008 Presidential Award for Excellence in Mathematics and Science Teaching for Missouri and the Milken Education Award in 2006. She has been teaching since 2001 and has published articles in journals such as "The Reading Teacher" and "Teaching Children Mathematics".
