True love lives on, for divine love is eternal.

This is a classic tale of Love after Death. Vanna has died, caught in the middle of a brutal shootout with the police and a ruthless criminal, just an innocent victim cut down in her prime. But her spirit refuses to move on and remains in this dimension. She is in love with her twin flame, her "dom soul," her divine destiny: Daniel. Unwilling to let Death come between her and Daniel, together they must find a way to do the impossible: Beat death at its own game.

However there are forces that will stop at nothing to prevent Vanna and Daniel from being lovers in this world, in this lifetime. Will they succeed or will the balance of the universe claim her soul? Can they find a way to keep their love alive? What would you do for love? For a second chance? A romantic read that will leave you longing for such a love.

-Love that feels like it could overcome the boundaries of time, space and transcend death. -W. P., Amazon.ca Top 100 Reviewer

-An unusual paranormal romance... Powerful; gets your perception and imagination going. -Oleg Medvedkov, Amazon.com Top 500 Reviewer "How many lifetimes have I loved you?"

Losing his wife was only the beginning for him. Dying was only a beginning for her. They were the Dom Soul, two parts of a twin soul, who loved each other through many a lifetime.

The love between Daniel and Vanna was so strong that they could not wait until the next life to be reunited again. Yet, death would not give up easy on the soul once it claimed it.

Would the love these eternal lovers share be strong enough to fight against the inevitable?
Is there an existence outside of the cycle of reincarnation?
Are our lives written in stone or can we write our own destiny?

The answers lie in The Tao of Love: Reflections

"On Vanna's last day alive, she bought some chrysanthemums for the flowerbeds that bordered the front porch. She bought them in silent riposte to Daniel's teasing her about planting all the ivy around the house. When they bought the home, there was nothing left but a few shrubs, with an elaborate lattice work around the house where there once were roses. At the sight of the lattice, Vanna knew that one day they would be covered in ivy.
"Ivy will attract fairies," she said.

Daniel didn't know if she was serious or just playing with him. But it didn't matter either way to him. He enjoyed the togetherness. He went as far as making an ornate sign proclaiming the house, "Ivy Manor," and placing it near the front gate. He even started to call her 'Ivy' in jest, saying it was a befitting nickname since they lived in a forest of ivy.

He knew Vanna didn't mind. She kind of liked it, even the little sign by the front gate. After all, she had started it by calling his old '64 GMC pickup truck 'Ginny'. She said that he and Ginny went together like peas and carrots, using her pitiful version of a Forest Gump voice. That always got a smile and chuckle out of him. She even went so far as to call him 'Lieutenant Dan' when she needed a hand, knowing he would ask her afterwards, "Is that all you got?" to which she would reply, "Can you handle what I got?" The playfulness of it all warmed her heart.

Secretly, Daniel was proud to see Vanna take such an interest in landscaping and helping him with the remodeling of the house. He thought it sexy for a woman to get her hands dirty working the soil and swinging a hammer. The sight of her standing on a ladder in her cut-off jean shorts and little leather tool belt drove him blind with lust. What's worse, she knew it. The house was fast becoming their home. Together, they were building a life, a beautiful life. But that was then and this was now.

From the Back Cover:

It was a beautiful spring morning and Vanna had gotten up earlier than Daniel. After a cup of coffee she decided to go for her morning run before Daniel and the rest of the town awoke. Dressed in her running gear, she headed out the door as she had done a thousand times before. It was like her feet were on auto-pilot as she ran, enjoying the breeze and crisp morning air.
In the middle of town she turned onto Main Street thinking she would take a short cut back home. She rounded the corner, her thoughts focused on her pace, respiration and the thrum of her heart, picturing her circulatory system doing its job, cleansing her organs, releasing toxins in each droplet of sweat, each exhalation of breath. God it felt good to be alive!
Just as she passed the coffee shop, she felt a sudden, intense pain in her abdomen. She winced and grabbed her stomach. Another jolt, like a lightning bolt brought her crashing to the ground.
Kneeling, gasping for air, she tried to draw a breath but couldn't get any air into her lungs. As the edges of her vision began to dim, one final blow hit her chest with the force of a freight train. Falling forward, she curled into a ball of pain, her brain frantically trying to make sense of it. Desperately trying to breathe, all she could see were pearls rolling in slow motion on the sidewalk. Confused and in immense pain, she looked up and saw a figure shrouded in darkness reaching down to take hold of her but she fought it. At that moment, all she could think of was Daniel.

From the Inside Flap:

On the night of the full moon, Vanna walked down to the beach. She took her sandals off and walked to the water's edge. It was there, as promised, that she stood with her feet in the sand and surf, lifted her head to the moon and marveled at the beauty of the night. The sky was clear and the stars shone brightly. The water came time and again to wash over her feet, the frolicking waves caressing as the sand danced playfully about her toes.
She stilled her mind, becoming more aware of the night breeze blowing in from the sea. It danced in her hair, its behavior playful and teasing. It seemed that the universe was alive and at play, her body the playground. A sense of love and peace came over her. She could hear the wind speaking, telling her that she would never be alone, that she would always by surrounded by love. On that beach, on that moonlit night, with the song of the warm breeze and gentle ebb and flow of the water, she was lost in eternity. She felt complete and whole as she experienced true love. On that beach, she found her love.

Book Description Createspace Independent Publishing Platform, United States, 2013. Paperback. Condition: New. Language: English . Brand New Book ***** Print on Demand *****. There is nothing to writing. All you do is sit down at a typewriter and bleed. -Ernest Hemingway Love doesn t know distance, neither in hours or miles, nor in life or death Losing his wife was only the beginning. Getting her back from the hands of death meant losing himself. This is a book about a man who loved, who made choices, and who was brave enough to stand by the decisions he made. This is first and foremost a love story. It is an unusual love story, granted. It tells of love so powerful that even death cannot break these two people apart. The two lovers will stay together, either in life or in death. Or perhaps somewhere in between. Yeah, man meets woman and they fall in love but it ain t meant to be. Life is rough like that, sometimes taking more than it gives. I bet you most people are with someone other than their first choice, living a lie, all the while thinking of someone else. Blessed are those who find the one that are meant for them. But it seems that the only place that happens is in fairytales. Maybe that what s makes it so sad, the more things change, the more they remain the same. -Robert A Love Story. Seller Inventory # APC9781490581361
