Abner Jones: The Man who Believed and Served (by J.f. Burnett). This short biography was originally written in 1921 and distributed as a pamphlet. This work has also been corrected and revised in this edition.

About the Author

Abner Jones was a medical doctor who left his practice to preach simple New Testament Christianity. He refused to wear denominational names, instead insisting on only being called a "Christian." He died in 1841.

Bradley Cobb is the author of "The Prodigal Slave: A Study of the Letter to Philemon," and editor of "Abner Jones: A Collection." He is a preacher, teacher, husband of one, and father of four.

J.F. Burnett was a preacher in the Christian Church in the early 1900s who wrote a series of short biographies of preachers of the past.
