Midwest Review said, "Any who look for deep psychological elements in their mysteries will find this a satisfying read, moving beyond the usual one-dimensional focus on mystery to reach out and tweak the reader's heart." - D. Donovan, eBook Reviewer
Officer Brett Reed will do anything to gain custody of his five-year-old daughter, Quinn. But when a judge grants Brett's drug-addicted ex-wife custody and slaps him with a protective order for losing his temper, he fears for Quinn's safety. Who will protect her now?
When Quinn is found abandoned on the streets, she's placed in a temporary foster home until Child Protective Services can complete an assessment. It should only take a few days.
But a lot can happen in a few days.
Especially when there's a deranged psychopath on the loose, someone who's attacking pedophiles, someone who wants to protect children like Quinn, and someone who's planting body parts in geocaching sites.
Cache a Predator is a novel about a father's love, justice, and the unhinged game of hide-the-cache.

A few years ago, a writer friend said to me, "You should write a novel with a geocaching theme."
"What's that?" I said. I had no idea what geocaching was or how to play, so I researched the sport and loved the whole concept.
I also love a good mystery/suspense/thriller, so I thought, What if a geocaching-enthusiast found a body part in a cache site?
My author mind said, "Why? Who would do that?"
That's how my villain was born. I made the character a person who enjoyed games and had an emotional reason to target victims. And who better to target than pedophiles?
But that wasn't a broad enough premise for a novel. There had to be more.
That's when Officer Brett Reed's character was born. He's a great dad who wants custody of Quinn, his five-year-old daughter. Unfortunately, he loses his temper with his drug-addicted ex-wife and the judge grants his ex-wife custody instead. That's when his problems accelerate.
"Cache a Predator shows how predators can slip through the system and cause fear that is unimaginable to parents, family, and the government." "I couldn't put this book down. It has non-stop action, a lovable main character, and an original plot.""I wanted to crawl in this book and be there to show my support. I cried, laughed, and got angry.""My Weidenbenner splashes the emotion of one father's love into the sea of a gripping talke that will leave readers locking their doors and pedophiles sleeping with their eyes open."
