Vancouver resident Murray Stiller is a documentary filmmaker, sound designer for film, editor, and professor. His feature length films (‘Debating Christ’, ‘Nailin’ It To The Church’,) and short films (‘Extreme Jesus’, ‘Motel Depot’, ‘Int.Bedroom-Day’) have been sold and shown around the world in film festivals. A former resident at Norman Jewison’s prestigious Canadian Film Centre, Murray continues to extend his long list of credits as an editor, sound designer, and sound mixer. Murray is in high demand as an educator, teaching full time at the Motion Picture Program at Capilano University, a part time associate professor at Simon Fraser University, and an adjunct professor at the University of British Columbia, Tyndale University, and Trinity Western University. He is currently PhD dissertation in media philosophy at the European Graduate School in Switzerland, his dissertation on sound in cinema.
