In keeping with the style of fresh writing, Robert Collins has penned a "memoir" of ten year old Bob Conners who is on a quest to find a hidden Indian burial ground, not get beat up by bullies while searching for his true love. (Yes - ten year old boys do think of their true love). Unfortunately, several things stand in his way: His curfew, the sisters St. Dominic and his older brother Rick who dispenses his own mature advice that only a twelve year old has. A coming of age story, Elmwood Park is a story about a journey of going from his first love to his true love and life's up and downs during Bob's formative years of the 1960s. Things were simpler then and life uncomplicated.
