About the Author:

Goran Lozo is a former Yugoslav karate champion in WUKO, ITKF, and JKA federations. Between 1988 and 2001 he competed in four European and three World Championships as a member of Yugoslav ITKF National Karate Team and Yugoslav JKA National Karate Team. Goran's book Karate (written in Serbian) was published in 1996 by Zigraf Publishing Company. The book explains differences in basic scientific approach to coaching athletes of different age groups from selection in early age to the world class athlete level. In 2000 Goran has earned Coaching Degree from the University of Belgrade's Faculty of Sport and Physical Education. For over 20 years, Goran has helped to train professional athletes in track and field, karate, boxing, wrestling, kick-boxing, soccer, basketball, handball, and body building. In 2011 Goran received a Black Belt 6th Degree (Roku Dan) from SKIF Serbia - Shotokan Karate Federation of Serbia (# 004/SRB-6). Goran resides in Atlanta, GA, USA.
