REVIEWS FROM AUTHONOMY ------------------------------------------------- - I wasn't prepared when I started reading this at dinner… not the best combination for many people. The opening chapter is as horrific as anything by Thomas Harris or Jeffrey Deaver. This is the Hallmark Cards of Horror. Amazingly well done, I'm very impressed. Seriously backed. - I don't think I've ever read anything as dark as this. - You have successfully given us a first-person viewpoint from a very disturbed mind, making this difficult to stop reading. - A captivating page turner! - This is like watching a Stephen King book movie directed by M. Night Shyamalan. - Into the Hallway reads like Minette Walters meets Lewis Carol. - Packed with exciting and horrific scenes, I can see this being a big hit with those who like their thrillers treading the line between reality and psychosis. - High Stars for this plunge into madness of the gory kind. - You moved from reality to being in a dream like state with skill. Your description of the gruesome scenes were captivating. - Surprisingly, the power of your writing also creates empathy in the reader while you are exposing the troubled, anguished mind of a child despite the malice she is performing. This is highly commendable. ---------------------------------------------------
