Gerry Mooney is a cartoonist, illustrator and computer artist who did magazine illustrations in the New York market for over twenty years. His work has appeared in such publications as Forbes, MAD, The NY Daily News, Newsweek, Golf Digest, Parents, and many others. He has created over ten covers for The New Republic. He created the popular humor feature Mooney's Module, which ran for three years in Isaac Asimov's Science Fiction Magazine. This feature spawned his Gravity Poster ("Gravity. It Isn't Just a Good Idea. It's the law!"), which has sold over 4,000 copies and was cited in the Feb. 2004 issue of Scientific American. Sister Mary Dracula, inspired and fueled by Gerry's Catholic school upbringing, originated as a Flash animation created in the summer of 2001, which quickly became an internet hit. In 2004 it had its world premiere as an Official Selection of the San Diego Comic Con's Independent Film Festival.
