Multisensory Spelling Level D is designed for the average 7 1/2 year old student and for older students who have a spelling age of 6.06 years. The multisensory spelling technique utilized in this book has been developed over many years and tried and tested on numerous students with excellent results. Research shows that learning is most effective when all senses are used and consequently this program requires students to use the visual, auditory, and tactile senses. The program is based on the premise that phonemic knowledge provides the building blocks of literacy and consequently it is recommended that the book be used in conjunction with a systematic and sequential phonics program.

About the Author:
Dr. Lillian Fawcett has over 20 years experience in education, is an accredited Dyslexia-SPELD specialist teacher, and has additional university qualifications in psychology. She has developed a range of spelling and reading programs based on well-research reading acquisition and memory retention principles which has enable her, and a growing number of teachers using her programs, to successfully help hundreds of students improve their literacy skills.
