Born in Honolulu, Richard Alan Bunch grew up in the Napa Valley. His poetry works include Rivers of the Sea, South by Southwest, and Collected Poems 1965-2011. He is the author of some stories such as The Night the Bulldozers Came, Whipped Cream, and The Gold Leaves of Autumn. His plays such as A Crude Awakening and The Fortune-Telling Parrot have appeared in several venues. His poetry has appeared in the Oregon Review, Cape Rock, Hawai i Review, Many Mountains Moving, Windsor Review, Poem, Black Mountain Review, Pinion, The Hurricane Review, and The Haight Ashbury Literary Journal.Review:
