About the Author

Bishop, Dr. Malcolm Coby is a multitalented family patriarch, writer, pastor, Jurisdictional Bishop, educator and consultant. He earned his B.S. and M.Ed. degrees from the University of Central Oklahoma and holds the Ph.D. in Education from Oklahoma University. He is a retired university professor with thirty years of teaching experience in various colleges and universities in Oklahoma. Most of his career in education has been in training teachers in the areas of Special Education with emphasis in Learning Disabilities and Emotional Disturbance. He serves as the pastor of the Victory Temple Church of God in Christ World Ministry Center in Oklahoma City, and has more than thirty years of pastoral experience. He was consecrated as the Bishop of the Oklahoma Southeast Jurisdiction of the Church of God in Christ in 2003. This Jurisdiction includes fifty churches under his leadership. He is a much sought lecturer and seminar presenter in the areas of Personal Development, Administration, Leadership and Marriage and Family Dynamics and Relationships. His ministry also includes a passion for preaching and teaching the Gospel. Other publications he has authored include Saints in the Wilderness, Handbook for Church Organization, Administration and Ministry, Until Morning Comes, Don't Let the Mountain Intimidate You, and many other workbooks, CDs, and a music project entitled "Songs of the Shepherd". A devoted father and husband, Dr. Coby enjoys a family of seventeen grandchildren and one great grandchild.
